Greetings Big Thinkers!
I have mixed emotions on the work-from-home phenomenon. On the one hand, a once vibrant and interesting downtown Seattle now feels like a ghost town. So, I was happy when Amazon, which is based here in Seattle, recently ordered its employees back to the office. Maybe it will revive downtown.
On the other hand, I (obviously) don’t work for Amazon. Additionally, I’ve worked from home for the past 13 years, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m sure many feel the same as I do. Therefore, it feels a bit hypocritical for me to hope for other people to go back to the office, while I get to stay comfy at home. Do any of you have thoughts on this? Feel free to email me.
