I am a Colombian research scientist at Stanford University’s Woods Institute for the Environment. My research focuses on non-linear processes in water systems, multi-scale resource networks and sustainability by utilizing cross-scale methods to integrate ecosystem functions and societal benefits in water systems planning and management. Much of my research to date has been focused in South America, especially in Colombia’s Magdalena River Basin and the Amazon River Basin.
